An introduction to making beer at home

I'm gearing up to teach another class on homebrew. This class is an introduction to brewing at home and will be held on Sat. March 12th at 4 daughters Irish pub in their upstairs room. 1:30 to 4pm. Cost is 15$. Register at Grains Beans N' Things or contact me directly.

In this class we'll cover the variety of ingredients used, how to brew, ferment and bottle home made beer. Other keys ares we will discuss are sanitation vs. cleaning, temperature control, equipment needs, and troubleshooting.

This class isn't just for first timers! Even if you've been brewing with extract, you'll learn quite a bit!

Oregon Green Expo

I will be hosting a "Brew Your Own" class at the Oregon Green Expo on June 20th at 1pm. Anyone interested should stop on by and find out just how easy brewing your own beer really is!
